Somatic Trauma Resolution is an approach to personal growth that works with the conscious mind, subconscious mind and the nervous system. Rather than only understanding why you have a particular pattern, we pay attention to what happens in your nervous system when that pattern is actually activated.
You may intellectually know that it’s okay to say no, take up space, trust yourself, but still find yourself freezing, people pleasing, shutting down, or second guessing yourself in the moment. Somatic work helps bridge the gap between what you consciously know you need to change and your capacity to actually embody those changes.

Yes, our sessions happen via zoom.

If you’ve spent years in personal development or spiritual work, you’re likely highly self aware. The somatic work is often the missing piece for highly self aware people who already understand their patterns but still find themselves repeating them.
You can understand your people pleasing and still automatically say yes. You can know exactly what you want and suddenly lose access to that clarity when it’s time to act. This is because true transformation is not about mental understanding. Real transformation must happen in the level of the unconscious. Somatic work supports us to do this.

Everyone's process is different, so I don't promise a specific outcome. I’m not here to sell you a formula to 10x your income or guarantee a particular external result. This is soul work. We’re working at the level of who you are beneath your survival adaptations, so the impact has the potential to ripple into every area of your life if you are wiling to show up and commit. But I cannot do the work for you.
Some capacities we may work toward include: greater ability to recognize what you want, communicate boundaries, tolerate disagreement or disappointment, make decisions with less rumination, stay connected to yourself under pressure, recover from activation more readily, access healthy anger, willpower, and desire, and to live a radiant life in alignment with your North Star.

Therapy and coaching can overlap in some of the content they explore, but they are different services. Coaching is not a replacement for psychiatric care, medical treatment, crisis services, or other licensed professional care. And if I believe you are out of my scope, I will tell you and direct you to other resources.
Our work is nervous system oriented towards your present day patterns, capacity, choices, relationships, expression, and the life you’re wanting to create. We may explore how past experiences shaped your current responses, but the focus is on developing greater awareness, choice, and capacity in the present.

Each session is different. I move intuitively in response to what I believe will serve you best.
We may talk through a current situation, slow down a moment of activation, track emotions and sensations in your body, explore conflicting parts of you, practice boundaries or expression, identify recurring patterns, or experiment with a different response in real time.

I am not an overnight life coach. I have devoted the past 7 years of my life to studying what actually creates transformation.
My background includes years of study in somatic, trauma informed trainings including direct one to one apprenticeship with master somatic psychotherapist Judith Johnson, who is a colleague and sponsor of Dr. Peter Levine (the founder of somatic experiencing).
My education has also been shaped by years of study with shamanic studies with indigenous teachers.
I’m a coach and somatic practitioner, not a licensed psychotherapist, and I believe in being transparent about that . And while training is important, what I believe has been even more importantly has been the way I live and breathe this work. I have spent a decade being on the receiving end of this work. I am constantly touching the deepest edges and fears within me, and its because of that I have the capacity to go there with others.
